  It's a decent place, but the grading system is very bad. Recently, almost everything has turned into a pass/fail system. This removes the feeling of knowing that you completely perfected something, or if you barely passed. Many of the teachers could also use some work. For example, Mrs. Ahlquist and Miss Stewart seem to completely hate children in general. Some teachers also talk for most (or all) of the class period, which lowers the overall quality of work. Teachers obviously play favourites and least favourites, as my 7th grade teacher had a rewards system. If you did something good, you got a sticker. One girl ended the year with 16 stickers, and almost everyone else was around 2-5. The same teacher pulled my friend aside at the beginning of the year, and flat out told them that they were a bad student. They ended up crying, and by the end of the year, the teacher claimed that they were always her favourite (even though the teacher made her cry). Every student is expected to be exactly the same, personality wise and grade wise. It's a horrendous system at times, but I guess the academics are okay.

  I both love and dislike the school. They changed the grading system which now makes us look smarter than we really are and most people would agree with me if they would like to see what grade they actually got instead of receiving a 1, 2, 3 or a 4. Some of the teachers and substitutes here can be really mean or very strict and some of them are both. Some teachers are extremely nice but you never hear about them being nice and you only hear about the bad things that the bad teachers did to a kid. The part I love about this school is that I made all of my friends here and some of the teachers here made learning fun for me. But there are lots of judgmental mean kids here that make school horrible for some kids and even some teachers.
